CRM Software in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the UAE

CRM software is where your revenue process lives: every lead, call, WhatsApp chat, quotation and follow-up in one record shared by sales, service and management. In Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the UAE it has two extra jobs: working in Arabic and English across the channels customers actually use (WhatsApp and the phone first, email second), and handing clean customer and order data to finance, because its quotations become tax invoices that ZATCA, the Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA) or, as e-invoicing phases in, the UAE's Peppol network will validate.

Superior Business Solutions (SBS), with more than 14 years of implementation experience in the region, implements and integrates Odoo CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Zoho CRM, and recommends one based on how you sell rather than a preferred vendor. What a CRM should do for a regional sales team

  • Pipeline and forecasting: deals by stage with expected revenue, probability and next activity, so forecasts rest on data.
  • Lead capture and routing: web-form, email, social and WhatsApp enquiries become leads automatically, assigned by territory, product or language.
  • WhatsApp and telephony: WhatsApp Business Platform chats and click-to-call with automatic logging, kept on the customer record rather than a salesperson's phone.
  • Quotation to cash: bilingual quotations with price lists, discounts and approvals that convert into orders and invoices without retyping.
  • Arabic and English side by side: right-to-left interface, Arabic document templates and search in either script.
  • Service and renewals: tickets and renewals on the same account, so sales sees open complaints before an upsell call.
  • Reporting: win rates, cycle length, lead sources and per-salesperson activity on live dashboards.

Odoo CRM, Dynamics 365 Sales or Zoho CRM?

All three support Arabic; the difference is what surrounds the CRM.

PlatformTypical fitWatch-outs
Odoo CRMCompanies wanting CRM, sales, inventory, accounting and e-invoicing in one database; common in trading, distribution and services.Value comes from the wider Odoo suite; a CRM-only project uses a fraction of it.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 SalesLarger or Microsoft-centric organisations with complex sales processes and Outlook, Teams and Power Platform needs.Usually a larger licensing and configuration scope; finance runs on Business Central or Dynamics 365 Finance.
Zoho CRMFast SaaS rollout and strong automation, especially for teams already on Zoho Books or Zoho One.Deep inventory or accounting needs Zoho Books and Inventory, or another ERP.

CRM in Saudi Arabia

Saudi buyers expect Arabic-first communication, and tax invoices must be in Arabic (a second language may be added), so templates should be bilingual from day one. In the integration phase of ZATCA's FATOORA programme, rolled out to taxpayers in waves, standard B2B invoices must be cleared by ZATCA before they reach the buyer, and clearance validates the buyer's VAT number and address fields. The cheapest place to prevent rejections is the CRM account form: capture the VAT number, commercial registration and National Address when the deal is won, not at invoicing. SBS connects the quote-to-invoice flow to ZATCA e-invoicing so 15% VAT and the e-invoice are produced automatically.

The Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), overseen by SDAIA, requires a lawful basis for marketing and sets conditions on transferring data outside the Kingdom, which shapes hosting and messaging-provider choices; government entities and critical-infrastructure operators must also meet National Cybersecurity Authority controls. Firms selling to government can run Etimad tenders as a separate pipeline with document checklists. SBS is an Odoo Gold Partner in Saudi Arabia and also implements Zoho and Dynamics 365 for Saudi organisations; see Odoo in Saudi Arabia.

CRM in Egypt

In Egypt the deciding factors are usually channel coverage and cost control. Most consumer and SME conversations start on WhatsApp or a phone call, so a CRM that does not log both is quickly bypassed. Teams quoting imported goods need multi-currency quotations with short validity and price lists that update quickly when the exchange rate moves.

B2B invoices are submitted to the ETA e-invoicing system with the buyer's tax registration number and coded items (GS1 or EGS), while consumer sales move onto the ETA e-receipt system in stages. Keeping tax IDs, branch details and product codes clean in the CRM avoids rework; SBS links it to Egypt e-invoice integration so invoices carrying 14% VAT are signed and submitted without re-entry. For marketing, Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020, made operational by executive regulations issued in 2025, requires consent and an opt-out for electronic direct marketing and introduces licensing for certain processing, so consent and unsubscribe handling belong inside the CRM.

CRM in the UAE

UAE sales teams are often multinational and regional: English-first users, Arabic customer communication, and opportunities in several currencies run from the UAE for the wider GCC. Multi-company set-ups, country price lists and Outlook and Teams integration therefore matter more, which favours Dynamics 365 Sales or multi-company Odoo.

VAT is 5%, and the Ministry of Finance's Peppol-based e-invoicing system is phasing in from 2026 for B2B and B2G invoices exchanged through Accredited Service Providers, so buyer tax identifiers in the CRM must be accurate before invoices flow through the network. Cabinet Resolution No. 56 of 2024 on telemarketing restricts calling hours and bars calls to numbers on the Do Not Call Registry; a CRM can enforce both with call scheduling and suppression lists. Personal data falls under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, while entities in the DIFC and ADGM financial free zones follow their own data protection regimes.

CRM for clinics and hospitals

Clinics and hospitals use CRM for the non-clinical patient journey: enquiries, reminders, recall campaigns, feedback and corporate or insurer accounts, while clinical records stay in the HIS or EMR. Health data is sensitive under Saudi Arabia's PDPL and Egypt's Law No. 151 of 2020, and the UAE's Federal Law No. 2 of 2019 on ICT in health fields generally requires it to be stored inside the country. SBS designs these projects with its patient engagement solutions so consent and data minimisation are built in.

How SBS implements your CRM

  1. Discovery: lead sources, sales stages, approvals, channels and the hand-off to finance.
  2. Platform and architecture: platform choice, licensing, hosting location and integrations.
  3. Configuration and integration: pipelines, Arabic and English templates, WhatsApp, telephony and web forms, plus the link to sales management and invoicing.
  4. Data migration: cleanse, de-duplicate and import contacts, accounts and open deals.
  5. Testing and training: user acceptance testing and role-based training in Arabic or English.
  6. Go-live and support: hypercare, then ongoing support from a dedicated implementation and support team.

What drives CRM cost

There is no honest one-line price for CRM software; the total depends on:

  • Users, and the edition each platform needs for automation, AI and customisation.
  • Integrations: WhatsApp, telephony, website, ERP and e-invoicing.
  • Volume and quality of the data to migrate.
  • Custom workflows, approvals and reports.
  • Hosting: vendor SaaS, private cloud or on-premise.
  • Running costs outside the licence: WhatsApp message fees billed by Meta by message category, plus telephony minutes and numbers.

SBS provides a scoped proposal after a short discovery session.

How to choose a CRM: quick checklist

  • Does it log WhatsApp chats and calls on the customer record, not just email?
  • Can it produce Arabic and English quotations and invoices from the same record?
  • Will won deals become compliant e-invoices for ZATCA, the ETA or UAE e-invoicing without retyping?
  • Where is the data hosted, and does that satisfy data protection and sector rules?
  • Is there a partner to configure, train and support it in your market?

Frequently asked questions

How much does CRM software cost in Saudi Arabia, Egypt or the UAE?

Cost depends on the number of users, the platform edition, integrations such as WhatsApp, telephony and e-invoicing, data migration and the hosting model. WhatsApp message fees and telephony minutes are billed separately from licences. SBS provides a scoped quotation after a short discovery session.

What is the best CRM software for SMEs in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the UAE?

There is no single best CRM; the right one depends on how you sell. Odoo CRM suits SMEs that want CRM, invoicing and inventory in one system, Zoho CRM suits fast SaaS rollouts, and Dynamics 365 Sales suits larger Microsoft-centric organisations.

Is there a CRM with full Arabic support?

Yes. Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Zoho CRM offer Arabic right-to-left interfaces. SBS also sets up Arabic or bilingual quotation, invoice and WhatsApp templates so customer-facing documents are Arabic-ready, not just the menus.

Can the CRM integrate with WhatsApp and our phone system?

Yes. WhatsApp connects through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, which requires customer opt-in and pre-approved templates for business-initiated messages. Telephony connects through SIP or cloud phone providers for click-to-call and automatic call logging.

Will CRM quotations become ZATCA- or ETA-compliant invoices?

Yes, when the CRM is linked to the ERP. Won quotations become orders and invoices that are cleared or reported through ZATCA's FATOORA platform in Saudi Arabia or submitted to the ETA in Egypt, and in the UAE the same flow is prepared for e-invoicing as it phases in.

How long does a CRM implementation take?

A focused rollout of pipelines, email and WhatsApp for one team can go live in weeks, while multi-company projects with ERP integration, data migration and custom approvals take longer. SBS phases delivery so sales teams start using the core pipeline early.
